Warning: Exchange item out of stock
Why does the warning appear?
The warning appears when the inventory of the exchange item is 0 or will be out of stock due to another return item being requested for exchange for the same item. To resolve this, you can update the inventory in Shopify, then reload the page and try again. Alternatively, you can choose another exchange item that is in stock, or update the item to either a refund using the original payment method or issue a store credit.
Can I proceed despite the warning?
Yes, you can. We will still create the exchange order with the out-of-stock item, and the Shopify inventory will be updated to -1.
